Susi’s happy life in AUS

Friday, October 30th, 2009

Susi has been in Australia for almost 4 months (out of the Sydney quarantine station for more than 2 months). I think she is really in love with Australia. Yummy bones and beef, grasslands, fresh air, clear sky, beautiful blue sea and a whole yard for her to play! I really can’t imagine if we actually left her in Hong Kong. I would have been totally heartbroken now and she would have been as well. She is just such a cutie and a sweetie.

Dogs are amazing animals.

My boyfriend and I have a cute female Siberian Husky. It is our favourite dog breed. We named her Susi which means “wolf” in Finnish. She is from a pet shop in Mong Kok, Hong Kong. It cost us about $5200 HKD. Well, I seriously freaking hate Mong Kok but apparently it is a good place to get pets for good price (at least cheaper than Causeway Bay).

Susi has black & white fur, blue eyes and she is absolutely a sweetie pie. It is commonly known that Siberian Husky are very naughty when they are young. I once heard about a puppy Husky that destroyed a whole room by chewing everything he could find. However, Susi did not give us that many troubles. She was a very good puppy. Except she might wee or poo somewhere not supposedly a few times. But in general, she was very calm, shy, sweet, soft and smart. She learnt things so fast and she got toilet trained very well at last. And in addition, she is always a very good girl when at the vet.

I always feel that when you have a dog it kinda changes your life. A dog loves you no matter what happens. You just spend some time in your life taking care of them, and they spend their whole life loving you. I always get touched by this kind of things. A dog’s love is pure and loyal and people should treasure it. And that is one of the reasons I so insisted on taking Susi to Australia when we decided to move there even if the whole procedure was pretty complicated and pricy (the story is upcoming!).

Anyway, here are some photos. Oh that cute little thing!
